ABOUT THE ROLE
Our team is growing and we are looking for a People & Culture Specialist to be based at our Warehouse.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Own end to end recruitment for our warehouse location, develop new and creative talent strategies in partnership with the Talent Acquisition & Retention Manager to increase quality and speed of hiring.
- Onboard new starters - sett new employees up on our HR Portal, manage welcome packs and schedule first day onboarding.
- Own employee performance initiatives including staff retention and engagement, supporting Managers through people matters, supporting performance reviews and succession planning.
- Ensure all Warehouse HR processes are adhering labour laws, health & safety regulations and company policies are being upheld.
- Implement and monitor safety programs to prevent workplace accidents and injuries.
- Work closely with the Payroll Officer to resolve all queries relating to payroll including timesheets and rostering.
- Work closely with the Head of People to executive training and staff development sessions in the warehouse.
- Manage culture activities including wellbeing initiatives, events, pilates, breakfasts and celebrations.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Prior experience within a warehouse or logistics environment is ideal.
- Strong experience within a HR Generalist capacity, with a deep understanding of HR and ER legislation.
- A hands on approach to HR - highly collaborative and responsive with strong problem solving skills.
- A genuine passion for people.
- Excellent organisational skills.
