If you're anything like me, when you got engaged, you simultaneously took on another full-time job — in event design, the art of perfecting an all-white outfit and storytelling (both the engagement story and the “selling a dream” of the big day to everyone who asks).

Face it, you have enough on your plate. So when it comes to your bachelorette party, it is time to give up control and let your bridesmaids step in (and if they haven’t started planning yet, consider this your gentle nudge to send them this blog as a not-so-subtle reminder!)

Now let’s fast forward. The reins have been handed over, the date is set, and your hens night now exists as a perfectly scheduled mystery. The details? Not your problem. What is essential, however, is context. The weekend may be unknown but your wardrobe shouldn’t be, and while you don’t have to plan the hens, you absolutely do have to plan your looks.
