Amazing quality and beautiful fit
The quality of this dress is amazing!! It has a nice weight to it, so it feels really well-made. It’s not see-through at all and it gives such a lovely, flattering shape. It is a bit long, but nothing a quick adjustment or a good pair of heels can’t fix. I haven’t worn it to the event yet, but it already feels super comfortable and elegant.

I am a size M in pants and I ordered the dress in size M but it is true that since it is a stretch dress and it is heavy I could have ordered it in S and it would have been perfect in length and back but perhaps too tight in the hips. But overall I really liked it.

Mermaid fit
I wish they called this a mermaid fit/dress inside of a maxi dress. However, it is very long. I’m 5’6” and if you’re any shorter it’s a guaranteed hem job. The dress is very heavy, and the straps do not seem strong enough to really last. I could see needing to get them serviced or repaired over time. The dress came with some stitches already coming undone near the straps which I will email them about.
Ultimately this is a gorgeous dress but did not look good on my athletic body type. I am basically an inverted triangle and it clinged to my tummy and accentuated my narrow hips. I’m shopping for my 30th birthday dress so hopeful I can find something else more flattering because sadly meshki has the worst return policy.

Such a pretty dress!
Literally the prettiest dress I have ever worn! I normally order S from Meshki, but ordered an XS for this dress and it fit perfectly! I am planning to wear heels with it (4in ish) and it just skims the ground, so I won't need to alter the hem (I am 165cm).
